Supervised Study
Post School Service
Terenure College runs an optional post school Supervised Study service for 3rd, 5th and 6th Year students. In brief, a teacher supervises a secure, comfortable and distraction free environment for students to study for a two-hour block.
Students have found this atmosphere invaluable and the school has noticed a marked improvement in the results achieved by students of the college in State examinations in the years since the introduction of the scheme.
Supervised Study is offered post school daily from 4:15-6:15pm (exception: 1:30-3:30pm on Wednesdays) and in the evenings from 7:00-9:00pm (exception: no evening study on Fridays). Fees are levied on a term by term basis. Students must re-register for each term. Places are limited and are allocated first come first served.
This first term of Supervised Study will begin at the start of September each year and will continue until Christmas. It will begin again in the New Year.
