First year admissions 2022/23

Here in Terenure College, we place a very high level of importance on learning through participation. Students here actively participate in the learning process. Our aim is to empower our students to be the best they can be and fulfil their potential.   In the past 5 years, 99% of our students have gone on to Third Level once they have completed the Leaving Certificate here. There is a strong emphasis on written homework, rigorous study programmes, regular examinations and continuous monitoring of progress. Our results are consistently well above the national average and this year we had a record 9 students who achieved the maximum points total from 6 H1s. Included in these 9 are 7 students who achieved an outstanding 7 H1s. Underpinning all of this are excellent teacher’s and extensive academic facilities. This enables us to offer a wide ranging and balanced curriculum that engages our students as self motivated learners and independent thinkers.
