THEATRE TRIPS:

Terenure College launched its “Theatre Group” with an outing to the Dublin Theatre Festival this year. A group of 5th Year Students, accompanied by some 4th Years from Our Lady’s were enthralled by the Guthrie Theatre’s presentation of Arthur Miller’s “Death of a Salesman”.

Our second outing was a much more lighthearted occasion and we thoroughly enjoyed  “Alone it Stands” in the Olympia.

“The Shaughran” entertained another group of 5th Years and we look forward to our next journey to Brian Friel’s “The Home Place” in the Gate Theatre.

Students of 4.5 attended a performance of “I do not like thee Dr. Fell” by Bernard Farrell in the Abbey Theatre in October. The students were unanimous in their praise of the play, which they found hilarious, and a great comedy.
