SWIMMING POOL RE-OPENING

Terenure College Swimming Pool will re-open following Rain Damage on THURSDAY, 10TH NOVEMBER.

Terenure College Swimming Pool reopened its doors on the 8th February 2007, two and a half years after it was forced to close down due to a leakage in the water delivery system. The Pool has now been totally renovated to an impressively high standard. Included in the upgrading of the facility are a totally refurbished pool, improved spectator area, new pool plant room and machinery, refurbished boiler house, new foyer and reception area plus stylish new tiling throughout.

It is expected that the renovated Pool will be much more efficient and less expensive to operate than the old, deteriorating Pool.

In addition to the Terenure College pupils numerous local schools use the Pool as part of their Physical Education Curriculum. The Pool also offers many programs to the local community including recreational, competition and lap swimming, swim lessons, water safety, and aquatic exercise.

Terenure College Pool has served its pupils and the local community wonderfully for over 30 years – here’s to the next 30!
