Sport has always played an important part in the life of the College.

Wholehearted participation, enjoyment and a generous and enthusiastic nature are more valued than the winning of competitions. Yet, we also compete successfully at the highest levels in many sports.

All levels of ability are catered for and encouraged.  Spacious grounds and excellent facilities mean that a wide variety of sports are available. Under the guidance of expert coaches the pupils have the opportunity to develop themselves and their interest in sports.

Rugby is the principal and traditional game of the College. The Cup matches each year both express and create a sense of school spirit and belonging together with an atmosphere of enjoyment and excitement.
