About The College

In 1860, Tyrenure House, the former home of the Bourne family, opened as a College with twenty one pupils on its roll.

Over the years, Terenure College has been recognised as a centre of learning and a community of faith in keeping with the tradition of the Carmelite Order.

The College comprises of a Junior and a Senior School. In an atmosphere of welcome and warmth, each individual is valued for himself irrespective of ability and achievement.
