ALTAR SERVERS

The Ministry of Altar Server is a very special ministry that encourages younger members of our congregations to become closely involved in the celebration of the Eucharist. Students of the College have long provided servers for the daily celebration of the Mass as well as Funerals and other celebrations throughout the year. Over recent years many other young girls and boys from the Sunday Congregations have joined our own students and assist the Community and the Liturgical celebrations of the College Chapel.

This Ministry is open to all students of the School Community and to girls and boys (aged 10 and upwards) who are regular members of the Sunday congregations. Training for all new ‘Altar Servers’ takes place in September / October and January / February. New Servers will undergo a trial period apprenticed to a Senior Server until the 1st Sunday of Advent or 1st Sunday of Lent.

Junior School:

– Fifth Class  Mondays
– Fourth Class  Thursdays
