For the last four years, Terenure College has taken part in the National Transition Year drama festival. Each year a short play is written and directed by the pupils themselves with some help from one or two “experienced “ fifth years. Past productions have included “consequences” and “ Any other Day” which dealt with issues such as suicide, homosexuality and even murder!
For the last two years we have gotten through to the semi-finals and the students always put great effort into the production. This year is no exception with a play by Kevin McGovern called “ Homer’s Iliad” based on the Classical epic “Helen of Troy”. We are also proud to host the first round of the competition this year in the Concert Hall. Best of luck to our budding actors.
