Following a long line of tradition of Drama in Terenure, for the last five years the First and Second Year Play has been up and running.
First and Second Year Play - December 2008:
"High School Musical"

First, Second and Third year staged an original performance of High School Musical this year under the direction of Ms. O’Neill and Ms. Aherne and the musical direction of Ms. Bowe.
The first performance for the junior school was a great success as the audience sang, clapped and even danced along! Then it was on to the main performance for the senior school. Matthew Hayes was very convincing as the popular Troy Bolton while David Somers sang sweetly as Gabriella Montez (with a lovely wig). Fionn Finnegan and Conall Walsh made a hilarious double act as Sharpay and Ryan.
Padraic Rowen and Robert Somerville came head to head as the dreaded Mrs. Darbus and scary Coach Bolton. How could we forget Hilary Nwankwo as the break dancing Chad. Robert Hall and Vishaal Anandaraman were excellent as Kevin and Taylor while Ruairi Carrol and Stuart Bolger kept it all going as skater dudes.
Ms. Rafter did a fantastic job of choreographing the dance routines. Who knew there were so many talented dancers in the school!
The musicians were spectacular as always and worked very hard with Ms. Bowe to put it all together.
A big thank you to all the boys who put so much work in.
Everybody now “We’re all in this together…”
