The Photography Club

The Photography Club made its re-appearance this year after a brief absence from the Co-Curricular menu.

Over the past few months many people have worked very hard to re-introduce this item to the College.

Two forms - Digital and Darkroom are now available. Some digital cameras and equipment have been purchased which students have access to and the Darkroom has been re-furbished.

All this has been done at considerable expense and we would like to express our gratitude to the Prior and Community of the College.

Aim:                      

• To give any student who wants an opportunity to take photographs.
  
  
• It is hoped the students will enter their work into Competitions.
  
  
• Record School Life, which is then displayed in the College and on the website with a possible option to purchase if anyone sees a photograph they want, for a modest sum.

We are always looking for equipment! If you have any (laptops (second hand) prints dryers, cameras etc.) or know where some might be available, please let us know.

At a recent introductory meeting over 100 pupils turned up. We have 40 approximately who are interested and have been out snapping over the last few weeks.

All levels are catered for - Beginners to Advanced.
