MUSIKFESTS Our “Musikfests” – the spelling is a matter of taste – are one of the most popular features of Terenure College life. For the many young men who practise their music in garages or attic-extensions they are a great opportunity to parade their skills in front of up to 500 people.
We hold at least four concerts every year in the College. All the organization is done by the boys themselves, enabling them to build up the various skills they may need for a future in this or similar areas.
Over the years we have had some fantastic bands and superb players. Conor McGouran comes to mind; also Danny O’Reilly and Graham Knox; also John Braiden for his brilliant takes on Oasis.
