Terenure College Swimming Pool reopened its doors in February 2007, two and a half years after it was forced to close down due to a leakage in the water delivery system. The Pool has now been totally renovated to an impressively high standard. Included in the upgrading of the facility are a totally refurbished pool, improved spectator area, new pool plant room and machinery, refurbished boiler house, new foyer and reception area plus stylish new tiling throughout.

In addition to the Terenure College pupils, numerous local schools use the Pool as part of their Physical Education curriculum. The Pool also offers many programs to the local community including recreational, competition and lap swimming, swim lessons, water safety, and aquatic exercise.
